WHAT IS A BOARDGAME CONVENTION

An event where people gather to play, learn, and discover board games. DEFCON includes a library of games to play, dedicated play spaces & tournaments.

Our version of this is much more relaxed and flexible with participants being able to pick games throughout the weekend.

popularized in the 80’s by the film “War Games” it’s an Imagined global "hype-o-meter" for how close the world is to total meltdown. the DEFCON clock of chaos. as the numbers lower, intensity grows. As do our events each year!
